River Lyckebyån

Approx. 90 km long. Originates from the area 36 km east of Växjö just next to Kosta in Småland. Flows out into the bay of Lyckebyfjärden at Karlskrona in Blekinge. Fish species: Rainbow (steelhead), salmon, sea trout, eel, pike, whitefish and perch. The last stretch towards the sea offers nice fishing for sea trout, samon and steelhead.

Prices (2001): 24 hour permit 15/3-28/3: 120 SEK, 29/3-30/4: 60 SEK, 1/5-31/8: 30 SEK, 1/9-30/9: 60 SEK

All year permit: 350 SEK

Bag limit: Two salmonoid fish a day.

A 13 kg sea trout have been caught here, and on several occasion  fish weighing over 10 kg.
