Welcome to the Skantzen Brukshotell in Hallstahammar, located in a stunning scenic setting between river Kolbäckån and the famous Strömsholm Canal. Here, the history of the old workers community is still alive in both buildings and nearby surroundings.

The hotel is a distinguished business hotel consisting of three buildings with a total of 103 beds. The main building was built in 1946, here are our superior rooms and our suite. In addition to the main building we have two adjacent, independent annexes with 20 rooms each.

Our kitchen prepares food with love and chooses its ingredients with care. We dare to challenge with unique tastes and have the ambition to be a kitchen in time.

Close to an exciting river Kolbäcksån and Sörqvarnforsens Sportfishing area. Also close to the sport fishing lake Mälaren, which offers a varied and interesting sport fishing on both pike, perch, zander and others.

We also offer a conference package that includes fishing, you fly fish for rainbow and trout in the Kolbäcksån stream behind the hotel. We provide short training and the equipment you need. The conference package is suitable for experienced fishermen as happy beginners.

Beautifully and quite located in the valley of Svartådalen, a very beautiful natural environment. We offer two different types of accommodation. Of which a genuine 17th century farmhouse and a beautiful mansion. It does not matter if you come alone, with family or as a small business. We have plenty of space. Accommodation in the 17th century farmhouse "The Old Cottage" (max 4 persons) and in the manor house "The Farm" (max 8 people, self-catering).

Edens Garden also offers canoeing / kayaking, fishing kayaks, bicycle rental, beaver safari, boat rentals, fishing and fishing gear rental, 5 day Yoga and Nature Retreat, Zoom Camp, Frisbee Golf / Disc Golf, bird Watching (self guiding / guided tours) Wildlife (self-guided / guided), wintertime activities and wood-fired hot tub and more.

Fishing in Svartådalen and river Svartån, lake Fläcksjön and lake Hällsjön guarantees fishing succes! You will surely enjoy the total silence, surrounded by nature full of life. While the breams are often found in the high water, perch and pike are found almost everywhere. You can catch trout in lake Hörendesjön. Fishing in these areas are very good, as you often get pikes around 4-6 kg, lake Fläcksjön has repeatedly given pikes over 10 kg.

You can rent specially equipped fish kayaks for a half or full day with or without a professional fishing guide.
