Statens Fjällfiskekort (roughly translated to Sweden's Mountain Region Fishing permit) Many of the state-owned waters in northern Sweden are available for fishing through the same fishing license, the so-called Allmänna kortet (General card). The fishing license is also available as season tickets for the calendar year. Family member of the same household can be included in the annual pass for a surcharge per person. The cards are personal but also applies to children under 16 years fishing in the company of the cardholder. Fishing licenses are sold in the mountain region through tourist information, tourist facilities, sports shops and other local shops. You can also buy permits online through www.natureit.se. Sportfishing Museum (Sportfiskemuseum) Angling equipment from 1845 and up to date. Here are most of the ABU's production, from Record Reel 1500 with agat bearringslager and green seaweed box. There is also ABU rods, products from Trojan, Victory, Ryd and other Swedish-made products. Also from Hardy, Milward, H. Leonard, Turnbull Carter, A & N, Hörgård & Vomhofe. Angling/Sportfishing Museum and Café at Gästgivarforsen (The Inn rapids) located at Byske river bank with views over the rapids, approx. 500 m upstream highway E-4.

SVEASKOG Fishing permit is a product of Sveaskog and National Property Board Sweden. The permit offers a variety of fishing in over 800 waters in 41 municipalities - from roaring rapids to still forest lakes. In the northern parts of the country are stretches for trout and grayling fishing, forest lakes with perch and pike, and stretches of rivers with salmon fishing. In the south you can fish for perch, pike, roach, bream, tench, eels, bream, crucian carp and many other species.
